What we install

Carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl and tile, each installed the way that material needs, plus the parts around it that usually get skipped: removing the old floor, levelling the subfloor, and finishing transitions so the new floor meets the next room cleanly.

  • Wall-to-wall carpet

Plush, textured, frieze and loop carpet stretched over new underpad and power-stretched so it stays flat for years. We plan the layout so seams fall where furniture will sit, not in the walkway, and match pile direction from room to room.

Nylon, polyester and triexta fibres · 8 lb to 10 lb underpad · pet-friendly and stain-resistant options

  • Stairs and landings

Fully wrapped treads and risers, or a runner with exposed wood on each side. Nosings are pulled tight so nothing bags or lifts underfoot, and the carpet is matched to the room it leads to for a continuous look.

Straight runs, winders, open-sided stairs · carpet, hardwood cap-and-riser, or vinyl stair nosing

  • Solid hardwood

Oak, maple, hickory and walnut, nailed over plywood subfloor and acclimatized in your home before installation so the boards settle before they're fixed. Prefinished for same-day use, or site-finished if you want a custom stain and a seamless surface.

Main and upper floors only · can be sanded and refinished several times over its life

  • Engineered hardwood

A real wood top layer over a stable plywood core, so it handles humidity swings and can go where solid hardwood can't, including basements and over concrete. Glued, nailed or floated depending on the subfloor.

Wide planks, herringbone and chevron patterns · suitable over in-floor heating

  • Laminate

Click-together planks with a photographic wood or stone surface and a hard-wearing top coat. A budget-friendly choice for busy rooms, laid floating over underlay with proper expansion gaps at every wall and doorway.

AC3 to AC5 wear ratings · water-resistant cores for kitchens and entries

  • Vinyl plank and tile

Luxury vinyl plank and tile, fully waterproof and quiet underfoot, in wood-look and stone-look styles. Rigid-core (SPC) planks go straight over most existing floors; glue-down vinyl suits high-traffic and commercial spaces.

Kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, rentals · attached underpad options

  • Tile

Porcelain and ceramic floor tile set on cement board or uncoupling membrane, with straight, offset or large-format layouts. Grouted, sealed and finished with matching Schluter trim or bullnose at edges.

Bathrooms, entryways, kitchens, mudrooms · heated floor systems available

  • Removal and subfloor prep

We take out the old carpet, tile, laminate or hardwood and dispose of it, then screw down squeaks, fill low spots with self-levelling compound, replace damaged plywood and re-lay tack strip where it's needed before anything new goes down.

Included in every quote where it applies · moisture testing on concrete slabs

  • Transitions and repairs

Carpet meeting hardwood at a doorway, a reducer between vinyl and tile, a re-stretch of a rippled room, or a patch where a pet or a spill got the better of it. We match trim, T-moulding and thresholds to the floor so the change reads as intentional.

Re-stretching, seam repair, board replacement, threshold and baseboard work
